Administration Officer - Safety, Risk and Insurance

Full Time / 6-Month Contract

Classification: GO4 (92,291.26 + Super)

 

Bring your eye for detail and passion for workplace safety to a role supporting the WHS, risk and insurance functions at the City of Playford.

About the Role 

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised administration professional to support a team of safety, risk and insurance specialists to deliver services across our diverse workforce. Reporting to the Manager Risk & WHS, you will be the central point of coordination for a range of operational functions. Your work will include phone contact with members of the community regarding insurance matters, as well as ensuring Council’s registers and insurance records are current and accurate. You’ll assist WHS operations by managing the scheduling and documentation of committee meetings and maintaining records and data integrity across multiple systems including SkyTrust and Pathways. 

 

About You 

Highly organised administrator with a background in WHS, insurance, risk, quality, or compliance environments. With strong communication and coordination skills, you’re confident engaging with a range of stakeholders, from community members to internal business managers, handling complex information with clarity, and maintaining accurate records. You are a confident user of technology including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft applications. You enjoy working behind the scenes to support safe and effective operations and take pride in your attention to detail. Formal qualifications in Business Administration are desirable but they’re not essential, it’s your experience, mindset and reliability that will make you a great fit for this role. 

 

Incumbents in this position are required to possess a National Criminal History Clearance.
