What You’ll Be Doing: The Social Inclusion Program Support role is responsible for providing administration support and assistance in the coordination and delivery of community services programs in the Connection and Inclusion team. Your key accountabilities will include: - Support with program planning for community programs.
- Support the participant intake, review and exit process utilising Council’s customer management system.
- Development, coordination and review of NDIS Service Agreements.
- Collate and enter case notes, customer feedback and reviews and other relevant information into Council systems.
- Cash handling including receiving money and reconciling cash and EFT payments.
- Use sound professional judgement and problem-solving skills to resolve matters and know when to escalate matters to the Quality Coordinator or Manager.
What You’ll Bring to the Role We are looking for someone with relevant qualifications and/or experience in community services, customer service, or a related field. In addition, you will bring: - Experience delivering or planning programs that support people with a disability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. (both written and verbal), with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level administrative experience.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible, and to work under minimal supervision.
- Commitment to delivering programs in a way that supports customer rights, diversity, access, and inclusion.
- Demonstrated initiative, forward planning and time management skills.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with program customers, staff, volunteers and other internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
