Business Administrator - Sport & Property

About the Role... 

 

The Sport & Property team have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced administrator to join the team providing support to all administration activities.

 

You'll join a friendly, supportive and passionate team who service a diverse customer base and deliver a range of functions associated with Council’s Land & Property and Sport portfolios. In this role you'll also have the opportunity to get involved supporting key Council sporting events; 

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide efficient administrative support to the Sport & Property teams exercising initiative and judgement through timely preparation and administration of documentation;
  • Manage the central mailbox for the Sport and Property functions and coordinate inbound team correspondence received via the mailbox, telephone and Customer Request System;
  • Creation of purchase orders and processing of invoices and insurances, including reconciliation/end of month processing;
  • Maintain the team SharePoint site and upload content to the team web pages as required; and
  • Coordinate and attend meetings to facilitate minute taking and preparation of agendas.

About You...

 

People are at the heart of everything you do - your team, your internal and external customers, and your community.  We're looking for someone with well-rounded administration skills and experience to support the team on a day-to-day basis. This includes good familiarity with Council’s corporate software and internal work processes. Previous experience and/or qualifications in property or sport related fields is advantageous but not essential.

 

While qualifications in Business or Administration are desirable, we welcome applicants with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated relevant and equivalent experience in a similar role.

 

Incumbents in this position may be required to possess, or be willing to gain a National Criminal History Clearance or DCSI Clearance.
