Venue and Operations Coordinator

Full Time / Ongoing 

Classification: G03 ($84,087.57 + Superannuation)

About the Role

 

The Stretton Centre is a regional business hub creating positive economic and social outcomes for the City of Playford. The Stretton Centre provides business support to local industry through a co-working space and professional meeting spaces with state-of-the-art facilities, supporting the growth of small to medium enterprises.

 

We are seeking an energetic individual who is proactive and thrives on making things happen! As the Venue and Operations Coordinator at the Stretton Centre you will:

  • Coordinate venue spaces including liaising with customers, coordinating bookings, invoicing, and supporting the setup of rooms for bookings;
  • Support operational requirements including providing co-worker assistance, visitor assistance, building maintenance reporting, reporting of cleaning issues to ensure smooth venue operation;
  • Provide outstanding customer experience and work to capture timely customer feedback through engagement to inform business improvement opportunities;
  • Guide and support the Events and Administration trainee in their daily work tasks and allocation of work, as required to ensure successful operations.

About You

 

To be successful in this position you will have demonstrated high level administrative knowledge, skills and experience together with outstanding interpersonal communication skills. Ideally, you will also have appropriate qualifications in hospitality, event or business management together with:

  • An ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers;
  • Demonstrated experience in administration in a venue hire, event management or general business support area; and
  • Financial administration experience including raising invoices, purchase orders and collating financial data for reporting.
