Strategic Planning Lead 
Full Time – Ongoing  
Salary: Starting from $155,467 + Superannuation

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Planning Lead to help shape the long-term future of our city and guide the planning decisions that will support sustainable development, infrastructure investment and stronger community outcomes.

About the Role

• Lead the Development of the City function and set the strategic direction for long-term city planning. 
• Develop integrated planning frameworks across land use, infrastructure, transport, housing, economic development and community outcomes. 
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership team and Council.
• Influence State Government, developers, utilities, regional partners and community stakeholders. 
• Lead a professional team and drive governance, performance and continuous improvement.

About You 
 
You are a senior strategic planning, urban development, city strategy or public policy professional who can work across complexity, influence senior decision makers and build trusted partnerships. You will bring strong judgement, excellent communication kills and a practical commitment to using planning as a tool for positive community change.
