At the City of Playford, we are committed to helping people remain connected, active and independent as they age. Working as part of our Positive Ageing team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our services remain innovative, compliant, sustainable and focused on what matters most, delivering positive outcomes for older people. This role combines quality and compliance with practical service delivery, team support and genuine community connection. If you're passionate about quality service delivery, continuous improvement and making a genuine difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you.

Why this role?

This is your opportunity to combine your expertise in quality, compliance and service improvement with work that creates real community impact.

Reporting to the Manager - Positive Ageing, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery, quality and continuous improvement of our grant-funded services. From social programs that promote connection and independence, to nutritious meals and community transport services, you will help create positive ageing experiences that make a real difference in people's lives.

No two days will be the same. One day you may be analysing service performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement, while the next you could be collaborating with stakeholders, supporting contractors and volunteers, implementing new processes or developing innovative solutions that strengthen service delivery.

This is more than a quality and compliance role. It's an opportunity to shape services, drive improvements and ensure older people remain connected, active and supported within their community.

What you will get to do

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to staff, volunteers and contractors to ensure exceptional service delivery and compliance with legislative, funding and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by using feedback, service data and industry insights to enhance customer experience, operational effectiveness and program outcomes.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on service performance data to support informed decision-making, funding obligations and future planning.
  • Support data accuracy, reviews, accreditation activities and the development of procedures and operational frameworks.
  • Partner with the Manager to review and develop sustainable programs that respond to community needs, funding opportunities and aged care reform.
  • Build strong relationships with community members, funding bodies and internal stakeholders to strengthen service delivery and collaboration.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends, legislative changes and opportunities within the aged care sector, contributing to the ongoing development of Positive Ageing services.
