From managing competing priorities and coordinating workflows to assisting with projects, reporting and process improvements, you will play a key role in helping teams deliver quality outcomes for the Playford community. What you will get to do - Provide high level administrative and business support to two Senior Managers
- Manage calendars, meetings, correspondence and competing priorities
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials and departmental communications
- Coordinate workflows, deadlines and key actions to ensure priorities are delivered
- Undertake research and project support activities
- Support purchase order processing and departmental administration
- Assist with process improvements and business system enhancements
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Council and the community
- Contribute to community education, marketing and awareness initiatives when required
What you will bring You are a proactive and resourceful professional who thrives on bringing structure and organisation to a busy environment. With exceptional attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, you anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and support others to achieve great outcomes. To be successful, you will bring: - Experience in a Business Support Officer, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
- Strong written communication and document preparation skills
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- High-level proficiency across business systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving and forward-planning capability
- Knowledge of Local Government functions, experience working within a Local
- Government environment and familiarity with Council administrative systems such as Pathway, ECM, OneCouncil, Click and website content management platforms will be highly regarded, but not essential.
