This is your chance to shape how we connect with our community and stakeholders. As a Marketing & Communications Partner, you’ll take the lead in planning, delivering, and evaluating creative campaigns and projects across a range of channels. You'll work closely with teams across Council to provide marketing and communications advice, develop integrated plans, and lead the delivery of communication and marketing activities that achieve results.

About You

You’re a storyteller at heart, backed by strategic thinking and a knack for knowing what will resonate with your audience. You’re as comfortable writing media releases and creating video content as you are guiding others on best-practice communication. As a Marketing & Communications Partner you will bring:

• Proven experience in marketing, communications, PR or journalism
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, your words engage and influence for different audiences, stakeholders, and channels
• Confidence using digital platforms, including content creation for web, video and social media
• Strong stakeholder skills, you build trust, adjust your approach, and bring people along
• Organised, outcomes-focused, and a natural collaborator

Experience with graphic design tools is a bonus.

Incumbents in this position may be required to possess or be willing to gain a National Criminal History Clearance or DCSI Clearance.
